Every Book Art Garfunkel Has Read over the Past 38 Years

Posted in Art Garfunkel, Lists, Obsessive Behaviors, That Other Guy by ed biblioklept on January 9, 2007

Because you demanded it! We’ve all been dying to know what Art Garfunkel’s been reading over the past 38 years: luckily, when he wasn’t busy starring in Nic Roeg films or walking across America, Art was thoughtful enough to record a list of every book he’s ever read. Link via the AVClub Blog, who always do such a great job digging up such treasure.

that Breakaway album is great with its excellent “Waters of March” cover. oh wait, was this post about books?

I second Lunchie’s comment about Breakaway. The Waters of March cover sizzles, but the real brilliance shines on the title track: great mellow synth solo, plus David Crosby and the Captain & Tennile on background vox!

Thanks, Dianne, for your brilliant insight. Is this a parody of spam, or this actually spam? Untouristed, yourself!

I have this album. I read a review somewhere that said it was great. I thought it was overdone and simply awful. If anyone wants a copy, please send me your address and some stamps.

Can you imagine how hard Paul Simon laughed when he heard this piece of garbage?

I was going to give this record away, but decided to listen to it again. I would like to amend my first post. Strike the last three sentences and substitute “I really liked the cover of the Stevie Wonder and the Jobim song.”
