		<description><![CDATA[good list.  mould, mascis especially.  not really a stereolab fan though.  i of course enjoy the furnaces as well, though i must say it was quite righteous to see them with Matt on keys and Jason Lowenstein on guitar.  they had some real chemistry going.  and what you&#039;re saying about sst etc. is so true.  i didn&#039;t really get into rock music until about 2000, but growing up a hip hop fan (i know, i know - but there was a time when hip hop was really, really good) i remember ordering paper catalogs for mixtapes from NYC...Stretch &amp; Bobbito, Ron G, DJ Clue, Tony Touch, Evil Dee, Doo Wop...this was the only way to hear half the stuff that was coming out back then unless it got popular...  i have fond memories of those days but at the same time i like the convenience afforded these days and wouldn&#039;t go back willingly]]></description>
