  1. I like this photo. I saw Mapplethorpe’s exhibit at Covent Garden and loved his photographs.

  2. I’m pretty sure it’s a still from Cronenberg’s Naked Lunch DVD. He has an excellent commentary and there is a filming of a get together at Burroughs house with Patti Smith playing guitar and singing, dialogue with Burroughs and Ginsberg, reminiscing, Patti saying she had been very much in love with Bill. I don’t know if Cronenebrg was filming it or not. I just saw it once after watching the whole DVD but I would bet the farm it’s from there.
