Can’t believe I haven’t seen this yet. Must be reading the wrong poets. What a stern and decided statement.
It’s interesting to me that Pound managed to find a tea-shop where the “girl” was around that long. These days, you’re lucky to get the same barista for a month, let alone long enough for “August [to wear] against her.”
