Another pic for my MM collection. Out of all the photos I have of her maybe 3% show MM as a regular person caught doing some thing ordinary. Marilyn probably did read Joyce and had interesting insights about what she found. A good shot of MM as an act is in Robert Altman’s James Dean documentary where she is exiting a car at a premier of a movie featuring J.D., and there is a moment where she is caught as a woman getting out of the car, and instantly becoming Marilyn.
