Am I the only one who thought the first scene of this film (the pipe smoking interrogation scene) was the only decent scene in the entire movie? Quentin has lost his magic, IMO (even though most of his magic was derivative to begin with).

I loved this movie. I’ve seen it a few times and I think it gets better and better with each viewing. It’s greatest flaw is that Christoph Waltz’s character so dominates the film that it’s hard to accept his “defeat” by Brad Pitt’s character. I would also suggest that all art is derivative and the presumption toward originality is the greatest sin of any artist.
