I told my girlfriend that seeing all these death masks here made me want my own, and she started telling me where to get the materials to do so. It concerns me that she thinks it’s something I should be taking care of soon.

This is not Marlon Brando’s death mask. It was cast by makeup master Dick Smith in prepartion for Brandon’s performance in THE GODFATHER. I was priviledged to have studied with Mr. Smith and held the original mask in my hands amd today I have a copy of it in my own lifemask collection. BTW: Dick Smith was very PROUD of this particular mask and considered it his best casting work… the detailed skin texture is absolutely amazing!
