I’ll go on record — I’m not a fan of many of Paul’s political views — but this is a great speech, full of salient points.

He wants a return to the gold standard and the eradication of the Fed, and now he’s in charge of the banking committee. I wish I could write more eloquently about economics, because my gut tells me that both of those ideas might be bad for American business. On social and national security issues, though, me and Ron Paul are brothers from another mother.
