A vicious, barbaric tradition that is second only to sending young men (and now women) off to kill and be killed for ‘abstract’ ideas, such as god’s just cause. It is suitable for people who never bathe.
The ‘clam guy’ here on the Lost Coast has a pickup truck proudly emblazoned with stickers for his anti-circumcision organization. He called the local NPR station that had a live program on forced circumcision, apparently for women only, and they hung up on him on air when they realized he wanted to talk about the disfiguration of the male member. No wonder there are so many angry Americans, Arabs, and Jews.
