    1. Hi, Jared. I’ve seen the film a few times; my favorite section depends on my mood, I suppose—although the Peach Blossom song and Dance in the Rain sections might be my favorite (the Soldier in Hell bit is the hardest to watch, but that only points to its strength). I’ve posted some of the sections before because I like to just watch them on YouTube sometimes; they will get taken down by WB or whomever eventually.

  1. ‘…Inside museums | Where infinity goes up on trial…’ A good cry in the morning makes the rest of the day seem bright. I fight back the tears whenever I think of poor Vincent’s life. Misunderstood by his friends and family. The historians tried for the ‘romantic’ death – suicide, but he was killed for sport by depraved rich youth. If only his life could have reflected his visual paradise. He is worthy of having Kurosawa and Scorcese on the same page.
