David Lynch’s fucked up dreams only aspire to be David Lynch’s fucked up dreams.

Such a great show.

Recently watched it again as a sort of chaser for True Detective (or, a more accurate analogy, used it as a kind of methadone between Sunday night hits of TD).
Most of it holds up well, but oh-my-god does it fall off *hard* after the whole BOB plot resolution.

Yeah, it does fall into a soap-opera madness. But, it’s hard to not see the rest of it as classic, even at the faltered pieces there at the very end.
I’ve seen “True Detective” three-times through completely; a number of other times just re-watching whatever episode. It’s a classic, no way around it.
