I actually liked My Blueberry Nights — not his best film, but still beautiful and fragmented—a loose visual poem with low stakes.

As far as Road Movies Set in America and Directed by People from Other Parts of the World (how’s that for a subgenre?), give me Antonioni’s about-as-much-maligned Zabriskie Point.
