  The other blog–which took all of five minutes to make–is sorta kinda a quick silly response to Self’s (silly) argument. He makes plenty of insightful/relevant points/diagnoses, but his estimation of the novel as a “prince” of culture is way off, and I don’t think he offers a convincing synthesis of his evidence (is he arguing against the codex? MFA programs?).
