2. This painting and others of Hopper, is brought alive by the Austrian film “Shirley: Visions of Reality,” directed by Gustav Deutsch, I just watched. In the film, the woman is Stephanie Cumming.

3. EDUARDO Thank you for the really fine referral. I suppose it was mindset, but much of Hopper’s work seemed alienating. No longer, thanks to the ‘shirley’ site. Now Hopper’s humans seem 98.6.
