   Hopper’s boldness and honesty reveal the isolation and loneliness of two individuals sharing a hotel bedroom.
   This painting could typify the new financial depression being experienced around the world today.
   It is a sad painting.

   It is sad Angela. His paintings while he was in Europe were so different. The American ones just vibrate with the despair of those times. People in other countries feel this hopelessness from the endless exploitation of our world. I think Hopper felt it a lot.

   Back of my neck getting dirty and gritty
   Been down, isn’t it a pity
   Doesn’t seem to be a shadow in the city

   I am lucky.For the whole summer I live in the Mediterranian coast.swimming every day,eating the best fresh food with extra virgin olive oil.
