This is 1978 from the Ominivision documentary. You can see him wear the same shirt in a Letterman interview from 1988. I want this shirt!
Another random and sad fact – the bar that is the opening scene in Kentucky Derby is Decadent and Depraved was removed from the airport and they put in a new bar that is affluent/tacky/gawdy/out of place for the Louisville culture/sad.

That loop shirt was also lent to Johnny Depp for FLLV movie, so you can see it work again in the 90s. Searching high and low for a replica shirt like this. Anyone?
