Columbus in Prison — Thomas Eakins

  1. That is so unusual for Eakins. right smack bank into expressionism. It always makes me sad they did this to Columbus. Then I read that quote from Michael Dorris from his diary about what good slaves he thinks these natives will be with their nice personalities and willingness. Then I don’t feel bad anymore.
