I love this etching, but it sort of terrorized me on Saturday. I’m at home, having had a good day full of reading, walking, ending it by making pizza and smoking a pipe, when I wander to the computer, check here, see this, and my mind was instantly flooded with work, a spiral of all that needs to be done in the coming week. There are a number of Hogarth etchings in one of the books I am currently working on at the office. After the fear and despair though, it was nice to realize that I was able to immediatly recognize a cartoonist I had no idea of before, simply because of work.
