The picture reminds very much of my country (Lithuania), where a person who killed many people gets away with 20 years of prison and no big discussions in society, but a person who takes the life from an animal is doomed and hated by everyone… I am still not sure if it is fair…

To quote our late great President Kennedy, ‘Life is not fair’. Nor is human justice. I agree with you that what happened in your fair country was not right. Some of the ‘greatest’ figures in history, as taught to us by teachers, were mass slaughterers of their brethren.
