At the University of South Florida I tried my hand at Arcimboldo style art. I did the portrait of a banker with wads of dollar bills, rolls of coins, checkbooks, account books, yellow pad notebooks, an assortment of pens–it was great fun!

The original painting is too large to be photocopied, and I do not use cameras, so I will look up my original drawing, which is 8.5 X 11, and post it on the Internet. Would you like that, yes?

His images are in a copy of Smithsonian I can’t find anymore. Anyone know?

I pray you are still interested, as it took me three weeks to find the boceto=preparatory sketch.
Go to DEVIANTART.COM/, and look up the profile BELIANIS.
I pray that you may like it, as it now looks a bit naïve and not as accomplished as what Arcimboldo could have done; still, I may try again in the future, for making that image was indeed fun.
