Is the ribbon choked up with bug killer dust?
Does the typewriter have an asshole?
Did Bill spend hours perhaps days zoned out on that mattress unable to summon at least the inclination to move?
I don’t see any litter trays. Cat free zone?

this photo doesn’t show the whole thing… just a corner. there’s a couple alcoves, a dinning table that sits almost a dozen I think. it’s not as bleak as this photo looks. PLUS, this is on the Bowery in Manhattan. when you live in Manhattan, you don’t NEED anything but a tiny, blank cube: the entire city is your living room!
