This has such an interesting prompt. I have a hard time letting go of people I care about, whether they are toxic or not. My best friend would tell you that loyalty is both my best and worst quality. And just thinking about someone and how you wish things could be, is not enough to change anything. Mostly, we are better off moving forward even if we’d rather not. Few people remember to live in the moment and that you can’t change the past. But I’m trying to get better at that; looking ahead instead of behind.
