Very good choice of post today! :) I feel with these words. Contrary to what the many think, writers are people of the world, taking in experiences, loving and listening to other people and their stories, all of it not with the purpose of writing down with forced skill, but simply because it’s in them. They feel compelled to convey to others because at the back of their heads they think, “Ahh, this young man may have so much to learn from the old librarian I met the other day.” So how do you make the two meet? You write about the old librarian.
