Jerome was a brilliant asshole who otherwise had many of the marks of sanctity. If he were not hitting himself or stabbing himself or whatever he’s doing here, he would not be a saint. Glad he’s kicking himself in the ass. Makes me feel OK about asking him for his prayers.
