So sad to see him go. He was a man’s writer – nothing anal-ytic about him. Jackie Brown is one of my favorite revenge movies. She gets away with it.

‘Most books contain too many words’ Elmore Leonard. Also, he said that Tarantino’s ‘Jackie Brown’ was the move closest to his novel of all the movies made from his works. EL and QT made the movie because of the female hero/antihero. What I also liked about JB was that Jackie simply allowed her malefactors to devise their own demise. Revenge is better served left to its own devices.
