“Unstable”, “Inconsistent”, “Erratic”. This partly causes a bit of a stir somewhere in my belly but mostly, it reminds me of the Ancient Philosophers’ idea of the Two-Sphere Universe. The first sphere is the celestial sphere, superlunary and of-divinity: perfect, constant, and predictable. The second sphere, the terrestrial sphere, is sublunary and human: unstable, inconsistent, and erratic aka a little bit chaotic.
I better pass this History of Astronomy midterm tomorrow.
