what does the poem mean though? throughout websites of restating the poem, there is never an answer to the meaning behind it. Is one to blind blind to justify the reasoning of this poetic justice. Or can one just not understand the simple understanding of Elizabeth Barrett Browning. I find it is insulting to have a poem just restated so much to the point of no answer besides the only answer being the poem itself. I would like an interpritation of the poem not just the poem, it’s rude to just show just her poem, that’s not what she intended for. Thanks for sending back to my original question, “What is she trying to say.”
