4. For years I lived in my Hollywood apartment right around the corner from his home without knowing. New owners attempted to tear it down even as historic preservationists were attempting to get landmark designation for it.
   If you’re thinking about doing the Hollywood Bukowski tour, I would say do it sooner rather than later, or you might miss your chance to see it.
