isn’t it interesting that, unlike almost everything you post, this one just doesn’t grab me. Is it because it seems sentimentalized — the size of the book, the gilt edged pages, the simple color scheme, the lack of finesse in the painting? who can say. but I love the series you’re doing of women reading. where would we be without books? swinging from the trees.
