well done! apparently, science fiction author Philip Jose Farmer wrote a similar parody (a short story) back in ’68, called “The Jungle Rot Kid on the Nod,” but i have yet to read it. Farmer also wrote a novel — “Venus on the Half Shell” — under the pseudonym Kilgore Trout, the recurring character in the works of Kurt Vonnegut. Vonnegut’s Trout was a fictionalized version of sf writer Theodore Sturgeon.
